Certificates of Assessment
A pathway to best practice... or just the diagnostic and remediation means to evidence compliance with stakeholders.
Best practice certification standards like ISO 9001, 27001 and SOC2 are typically out of reach, and necessity of most SMEs and Nonprofits.
Certified By’s Programs provide a framework, smart self assessment and the helpful resources to measure and improve against the principles of these and other standards, in your own time and at your own pace.
They are not designed to replace or compete with existing best practice standards, rather provide a pathway to them (if so desired).
In 2021 the Australian Cyber Security Centre introduced a Maturity Level model for the Essential Eight Strategies to Mitigate Cyber Security Incidents, to recognise the different sizes, circumstances and needs of SMEs. Our Programs follow a similar structure:
Level 1 – This is where a Program journey begins.
Level 2 – If desired, an elevated level of assessment can be achieved.
Level 3 – If desired, the final phase in organisational best practice.
When you complete a Program you receive a Risk Report with a Risk Score, to visualise your assessment results and prioritise improvement areas.
Your Risk Score Matters Most
When users are satisfied with their Program results (and Risk Score) they can order a Virtual Audit to evidence their achievements with a Certificate of Assessment. To build trust with stakeholders, clients, insurers, VCs or whoever they wish to impress.
